WoW won't end the Warcraft universe, and I believe it's been stated that most events in WoW aren't considered Canon changes to the plotline.

There are still several commanders in charge of the Burning Legion, Arthas is (for now) alive, and Deathwing is still unaccounted for. Those are all old villains that don't really even need a cheesy "return" to be a threat (like having a cult resurrect Sargeras or something stupid).

I didn't get that from your response, but okay. It would take a serious Lore stretch for both universes as the origins of the Burning Legion are somewhat well explained, integration into Diablo's universe would be hideous.

However, Starcraft by it's very nature would be easily written into either storyline due to the whole space thing, but if any race found itself in conflict with the worlds of Diablo/Warcraft, the conflict would be over in such a one-sided manner that it wouldn't be worth writing about. Although it could be an interesting conjecture from the Low-Tech POV as to what might happen if the Earth were contacted by an advanced, spacefaring civilization, but I think an entirely seperate game would better suffice for that kind of exploration.

TLDR; Warcraft + Diablo = unlikely and Starcraft + Anything = easier in some respects, but strains your suspension of disbelief a lot.

Sorry about that, I really should have put a lot more thought into that before posting it. I'm guessing it was one of those random one liners that I get in my head all the time, and they are more prevelant when I am burnt out, like tonite.

Not quite in my eyes, although it could be inferred that the Naaru could be another moniker for the Xel'Naga, as I don't think either have had a whole lot of info released about 'em.
