And also, I was calling her young and dumb because she is way too forgiving, took him back, etc. She just thinks she's in love, probably because it's her first time feeling this way, so she doesn't know any better. If she is trying to work it out for the baby, that's one thing, but if she truely thinks he's going to change and loves her, then she's foolish.

I don't know of their situation, personally, but I can almost gaurantee they were using birth control, condoms, what have you. Sometimes all that doesn't work, though.

BC pills are 100% effective, although they say 99%, and that 1% is literally due to human error (she forgot to take the pill).

FUCK YOU! I am a great mom, she's my life. And yea, I have taken birth control. Not atm because im nursing and it makes you not as productive. So what I'm young, I take better care of her and have my shit together compared to most parents I know. Why would it be ok to try and work it out just for the child, If that was the case then it would really be fucked up because it would be doomed anyways. We want to set a good example for her, yes...but if we didn't care about each other then we would set good examples seperately. Or at least I would. How many 18 year olds do you know that have children (there's now a LOT of us...) that have their shit together like I do. I have a very good job, and I have the right priorities. I'm not really into parties, never really was my thing...and I've always wanted kids, it just happened sooner than I thought. That doesn't mean I'm not going to be a good parent, it just means that I grew up real fast. Not a big deal to me, like I said...I've always wanted children.

BC doesn't just quit working because you forgot to take the pill only. Certain medications have reduce its effectiveness also. There are probably also other factors.
