I know, but with you and me learing LW, and Chruser already knowing it. I was saying LW.

Randuin 2003-02-26 03:26 PM

i'm learning LW =\ i'm just poking at it :)

Acer 2003-02-27 09:50 AM

yeah, but you still can help people who are new. You helped me :p

Randuin 2003-02-27 04:27 PM

i dunno i really want to get good at maya tho :)

Acer 2003-02-27 04:57 PM

Good idea, get good at one thing rather then know a lot of stuff :)

Randuin 2003-02-27 08:02 PM

nod but i'm basically trying most things out, lightwave is hell good at architectual modelling, layers rock (some other packages offer layers too... but they don't work half as well as LW's layering system) the only thing i don't like LW now is the seperation between modeler and layout AND how move/rotate whatever have no handles :D

Acer 2003-02-28 11:40 AM

The move/rotate is something I agree with but I love the modeler and layout seperate.

Randuin 2003-02-28 09:54 PM

ya handles would make it HELL alot easier to rotate and especially... bend... oh ya and bevel too :0

Acer 2003-02-28 10:30 PM

Maybe they will have those in the v8 series and so on.
