God damn. It's like $2.50 here.
2.53 here.
I don't know why. In the town over it's $3.40. What the fuck is up with Midwest? We're getting raped.
It's called Price gouging. You guys have additional taxes and whatnot I believe. For some reason though your supplies fluctuate alot more. No clue why, sucks to be you I guess.
Went up to about 3.17 overnight :(
FUCK THE MIDWEST, I TELL YA!!
2.60-75 Here. It's funny that I consider that low now. Which is exactly how they want everyone to feel. Jack it up to 3.50 then drop it to 3 and everyone is happy.
Yep. I wish we had gas back around 1.85-1.90 like it was when I was in highschool like 2 years ago. Fucking Blasphemy.
Ya how can we go from .50 cents to 1.50 in like 50 years. Then in 5 years go from 1.50 to 3.00! Such bullshit. You know depending on the scientist they estimate we've already used half our worlds oil supply or it's getting close.
I wouldn't worry about it, as soon as it starts to become an issue our alternative fuels will take off, until then, the government doesn't really give a shit.
Same thing with Freshwater, we've only got 3%? I believe, if we ever get to the point where we're running low converters that take saltwater and convert it to freshwater will be everywhere, but until that point nothing will happen. Procrastination.... |
Ya it's just a shame.
Hey, you guys know there are like 10 threads you can look at in this same section, go stop by some time!
I've never payed lower than $1.70 for gas.
If you all have the money, I'd suggest that when the gas prices get low enough, you should buy it bulk. They will let you pump gas for that price each time you go to the pump until it is used up.
It's around 3 bucks here, varying from gas stations around the college. Hopefully it doesn't go too far up. But, since the other Midwestern states seem to be having rising prices, it wouldn't be too difficult to suggest an influx in price. |
I always fill up my tank when I get gas. Unless you mean buying it in bulk like getting a bunch of gas cans and storing a bunch of gas somewhere. Not only does that sound unsafe, but also doesn't sound very practical, since the cost of the gas cans would probably be more than you're saving by buying in bulk.
Oh, I should have specified. I meant that you can buy 100, 500, or 1000 gallons on credit at a certain gas station at one flat rate. Say it goes down to 2.30, and you buy 1000 gallons. The next month it goes all the way up to 3.15. You still will get your gas for that 2.30 (already paid for) and won't be upcharged to the contemporary price. I recall several news stories of people doing that before Katrina.
