Yet most Iraqi's would rather have Saddam as their head of government rather than America. This has been proven plenty of times, one example being the Gallup Polls, a quite credible source.

This is not unprecedented. We have a tendency to do this. For instance, Americans believed they were making the native's lives better by introducing them to Christ. English believed that they were making the Americans better by having us under their jurisdiction. I've even heard quotes from people's journals that believed they were doing Africans favors by enslaving us. Bullshit. Unless the receiving party considers it a favor, I don't consider it a favor.

Why dont' we go to China , and remove their dictator? Because we're Bullies. Iraq doesn't even want us there. We gave up on the War in Afghanistan, and our Focus is IRAQ because we can't find Osama. It's a joke, the Bush administration (As I've said millions of times) Has ruined our country, and we can't let this go on for 4 more years..

We went to Iraq because they were funding, supporting, and housing terrorist organizations. China isn’t, it’s that simple.

Since we also believed Iraq was producing WMDs then that made them dangerous. We had to go in there and bitch slap a country that was being stupid.

more on-topic, slave owners shouldn't be blamed for anything. the way i look at it is, early on it was rare to see another race, and how many settlers in america had seen africans at that time? how do you know they didn't really think of them as people (like they were). if you ask me, that's not opression as much as it is culture shock or whatever you'd like to call it.

also, get educated and realize that the african race was not the first race to have members of it turned into slaves. slavery has been around for a long, long, time. do not take all the fucking glory.

I don't have to agree at all. Africa had thriving civilizations like Mali and Songhai. Who is to say European culture is better than what they had? That's one of the dumbest things I've seen in a while..

Did I ever say that Africans were the first race to be enslaved? No. In our case, it was the worst, though. Millions of Africans were shipped across the middle passage. In certain colonies, the slave population heavily outnumbered the free population. Africa was robbed of it's natural and human resources. That has never happend to an entire continent before.

(slavery does no longer affect people's daily lives, but african americans do deserve reperations IF they can prove their families had bene in slave labor. They aren't as oppressed in the US as they once were, BUT they are oppressed as badly in parts of the South. I've seen it up close before. But yes, they do have it easier than how they used to have it
