Okay, everyone who has the game and likes it, what other games do you like? I'm thinking about getting it. Also, there are accessories for it right? And I don't have a GBA. I don't know what all you use it for -- besides saving the NES games on to play -- but I remember reading on.. Gamespy I think, about the accessories you can buy for it. Anyway: Conclusion - You like it? What other games/game types do you like? (Specific Game Names may help) Should I buy it?

u can also use the e-reader with it

When I first heard about Animal Crossing, I didn't really know what to think. When I actually played it at my friend's house... it made me want to get a GameCube... that's how fun it is... now where's that $150... mmmm somewhere...

GameCube 2002-10-07 06:54 PM

yea you will be addicted to this game

Jamesadin 2002-10-07 07:11 PM

Dammit, your making me want to play it.

GameCube 2002-10-09 10:24 AM

yea, i know

Jamesadin 2002-10-09 12:02 PM

I think I might get it....

It's an awesome game. I've already got my house built up to it's maximum.

Bob, if you liked The Sims (or really any of the Sim games) you'll love this. The best description I've heard for it is "This game is everytning The Sims failed to do, only done right." It's obnoxiously cute, but very entertaining.

As far as accessories go, you can link the GBA to it, and you can use the E-Reader with it.

If you want more suggestions for GameCube games, buy Super Mario Sunshine, Resident Evil, Eternal Darkness, or Star Fox Adventures. All of them are badass beyond words.

well i find the graphics on cube not so grate for this game but i find that this games looks good but they could make it less kiddy

Raziel 2002-10-10 12:49 AM

Why does a game having slightly cartoonish graphics make it instantly a "kiddie" game? Would you prefer all of the animals walking around with their tits hanging out and severed heads bouncing across the screen? Or maybe you would just prefer a GameCube port of The Sims?

Oh, and HAVING GOOD PUNCTUATION AND DECENT GRAMMAR SKILLS NEVER KILLED ANYONE. Look into it.

GameCube 2002-10-12 07:32 PM

i agree completely. u cant judge a game by its graphics

Raziel 2002-10-12 08:18 PM

Damn straight. And even though it has cartoony graphics, it suits the game perfectly. If it was more realistsic it wouldn't feel right.

yea, it would look stupid with real people

Fun but COME ON 57 blocks to save? I rented it and I had to wipe all my data just to save it.

If they didn't give you a free memory card when you buy it it'd be such a horrible ripoff.

Jamesadin 2002-10-15 03:46 PM

holy shit, 57? Damn

Raziel 2002-10-15 04:15 PM

The game comes with a memory card, dude. You have to save an entire town's worth of information. What were you expecting?

Xenn 2002-10-15 07:48 PM

This game is fun now but I don't really see where it's going... after you've got a good house what can you do, buy more stuff for your house? Doesn't sound very entertaining..

BlueCube 2002-10-16 09:11 AM

You can chop down all of your friend's trees... go to all of the festivals (maybe play on Christmas)... or maybe just beat the animals with a net.

-----------------

By the way, you can send stuff to people, if you know their name and town. You just talk to Tom Nook and give him an item and that information. He'll give you a password that will only work for that person. (edit: It's in "Other Things", and "Hear Code".)

Post your name and town, maybe someone will send you something.

The code, your name, and the town's name are all case-sensitive.
Heck, maybe you could request something, and someone, somewhere, might be nice enough to send it to you.. or just give you an apple. Whatever.
