Are you having trouble finding your way through this thread? The discussion has shifted focus. Is that a problem?

It's going like this:

First part - 30% of the thread
Second part- 25%
Third part - 45%

Would you really rather have 3 seperate threads when it's not difficult to see how these transitions were made, and in fact, allow the entire thread to make more sense?

It is not specifically my job to edit threads. It is my job to use my judgement and decide whether or not something should be done. That point of view varies from person to person. Sov wrote those rules, he can enforce them as he sees fit. I will do what I think is necessary to maintain the forum.

I'm having a fine time finding my way through thank you so much Mr. Supreme Moderator Grav. I either scroll up and down using this itsy bitsy wheel on my mouse, or go clicky clicky on the buttons to change page.

And no, the thread is in two parts. Start about !K_A!'s idea, the rest has been an argument with you.

If you cannot see why the thread, which is off-topic now (and does not follow the lines the writer intended it to do) and needs to be split into two parts, you are not doing your job properly. Maybe another Mod who knows what they are doing will do it for you? Hmm? Maybe Sov, or Bob, or if it lasts so long that we have to wait for his nexct visit, SYG.

EDIT: So it's not your job to stop things going too far off topic by splitting them, but it is alright to edit everyone's post in a harmless thread?

K_A's idea trailed off into complaining about the gen con forum.

Then it went into him and you arguing with me about that. That is not "the rest" of the thread. It's less than a third. I guess the British numbering system works differently, though.

The last part of the thread is going off topic now, mainly because of you and K_A complaining. That will be seperated.

No, it is. But that's at my judgement. Not yours.

I'm going to side with Grav here, 100%. Everyone already knows my thoughts on the subject.

We need more better, active mods like Grav and Sov. Sack the rest and give the positions to someone else.

Why does it seem that people are always bitching about staff? I think everything is pretty good as is. But then again, I thought everything was pretty good as it was 6 months ago... and a year ago... and two years ago.

What exactly isn't being done that needs to be done? Would you have every post with an inkling of a different topic split or deleted? Would you have every fracture of a rule punished? Would you be a commie bastard? Everybody can't be a moderator. That defeats the purpose of it.

And one more thing. Zelaron staff aren't your fucking parents. We don't need to fix everything you do and censor you from everything that you might not like.

If someone says something offensive, don't fucking read it. If, for some reason, you feel inclined to read it, then either take it like a man and don't bitch or tell them how you feel about it and why. You're a big boy now. You can solve conflicts.

If someone spams in your thread, and you don't think that the purpose of the thread has been fulfilled yet, then tell them to get back on topic. I think actual conversation should only be split on the rare occasion that a topic spawns a new thought and both have active conversations. Even so, we have the hybrid thread thingy that nobody seems to use to fix that problem.

Seriously, though, grow the fuck up.
