I would like to Meet the Fockers.

pr0xy 2005-02-01 11:14 AM

Oppenheimer eh?
But not einstein? His ideas did pave the way for the bomb. Or did you state him in an earlier post?

Havn't thought about him. And why Gandhi?

Raziel 2005-02-01 10:48 PM

Einstein's biggest involvement with the bomb was convincing Roosevelt that the Germans were working on nuclear weaponry and we needed to beat them to the punch. That was his only direct involvement with the Manhatten Project. I've always had a pedestrian interest in the development of nuclear weaponry, and Oppenheimer was at the head of it all.

I didn't list Einstein simply because I didn't feel like being redundant.

Gandhi, because he's one of the most insipirational figures in human history. I suppose I'd also add Desmond Tutu to the list, now that I think about it.

I met him when he was at that speaking in Vancouver.

Raziel 2005-02-01 11:49 PM

I've seen a bunch of his TV interviews, and he just strikes me as being one of the kindest, most optimistic people on the planet.

-=Rico-GP=- 2005-02-02 01:12 AM

His speeches are quite moving...

!King_Amazon! 2005-02-02 04:41 AM

Moving my bowels.

Those kind of people depress me. :(

Myself in 20 years so I can see what I could do better.
Myself 5 years ago to tell myself what myself told me.

Also if anyone needs to shoot anyone in the head, they could always hire me, I am a qualified sharpshooter with an M16A2, an expert with a bayonet, and an expert with grenades. Plus Im pretty stealthy(mostly the pretty part).

Sovereign 2005-02-03 11:47 AM

Richard Dean Anderson.

I'm a huge Stargate Sg-1 fan :-\

Thanatos 2005-02-03 08:12 PM

-=Rico-GP=- 2005-02-03 09:00 PM

Wow you would meet an ACTOR?

HAHAhAHA

Mantralord 2005-02-03 09:28 PM

I'd meet Titus so I can kill his family.

Sovereign 2005-02-03 09:30 PM

Who else would I pick? Hitler was an asshole, don't want to meet him. Can't say I give two shits about ghandi. Einstein would probably make me feel more stupid then I actually am. I really don't care much for anything before 1939. So yeah, it would either be him or Gene Roddenberry.
