i just saw the simpsons season premeir, it was really good.

simpsons are just using old jokes,
first season sucked then the second one was good, i'm just waiting for the third and forth

It was good. They're time will come to an end soon though. But South Park won't last as long as them. 14 years is a long time.

14 years is a long time. However, if Southpark continues to mock recent events, they will never run out of material.

OMG Yes the Simpsons premier was so funny! I still think Southpark will outlast it though... even though I don't like it nearly as much. Replay value is definently in the favor of the Simpsons.

Replay value is not their main thing. They'll last for awhile yet.

Replay value has nothing to do with how long something keeps coming out with new episodes (if by how long they will run you mean how long they will come out with new episodes... which is what I meant). Having said that, The Simpsons has far more replay value, but not enough room to work and will die much quicker than South Park.

For god's ake its been 14 years! I like South Park but there is no way it will last 14 years. Maybe 10 or even 12 years, but not 14 years.

But what do you think will die first, not how many seasons, just present day.

Well if it dies tomorrow, it will still be a longer lasting series than South Park.

the thing is simpsons is more of a family learning thing, and all i want to see is ichy and scrachy

Ichy and Scarachy should have their own show.

Since the Simpsons is somewhat a family show, it will continue to survive.
