The ones I use are...... in fact, I installed Office 2007 the other day. I wonder if any of those fonts are in my fonts folder.

That's a no... I think it's safe to say that I have around 500, then.

Lenny do choo think I should lower 2,000 to something more like 500 or 1,000? It might be a tad bit high for some people(including yourself).

I don't use many fonts, so I don't even need 500.

If you use them all, then keep it at 2,000. If youonly use 4, then get rid of the ones you never use - it'll speed your computer startup up a bit.

Word, man. There are too many fonts.

If you're ever in the need of a lot of fonts go to this page they have somewhere in the vacinity of 6500 fonts appearently. If you're not then don't bother. And if you're curious why not just take a look.

At least, I think that if you only have a few fonts the computer won't take as long to start up than if you had a few thousand.
