Just over 4 years (give or take) ago I was trying to think of an original name. Medieval was a given because most of the games I played were along those lines. Bob just sounded good with it. I've only seen one other Medieval Bob in all the time, and he was a house scammer on UO... which hurt my reputation a bit... But I only saw him once so it wasn't much of a problem.

So I use Medieval Bob for everything today except for FPS games. I use Kanenfawder for FPS games since when I started playing Counterstrike, my n00biness was so apparent, cannon fodder was all I could be.

Anyhow, there's the story.

Dictionary.com, my furry friend, says that cannon fodder is someone who is likely to be killed. The term "cannon fodder" does not mean that the victim will even be touched by a cannon.
