Yeah, well they will lock up faster. Longer hair takes longer to lock up completely. But yeah, that is true.

this is roughly what mine would look like now if I were to start them this early. well, not at first. the locking process takes months. But if maintained properly on a weekly basis for the first two months, and bi-weekly for the next month and then just periodically they tend to lock pretty fast at that point and less maintenance is required.
