I'm not sure if you guys have WWE overseas, but they do it here for the rednecks and 12 year olds that are entertained by fake wrestling, and blatently fake scripts/plots that are sometimes so horrrible you'd think a porno-producer thought it up... actually, may be on to something.. hmm

Lenny 2007-06-27 04:32 PM

It's aired, aye. I used to watch it on occasion, years ago. Even then the daft 'stories' that they tried to weave into each 'episode' made me sick.

KagomJack 2007-06-27 04:39 PM

That's why the mid 80's to mid 90's had the best wrestling. It wasn't all bullshit and fairytales.

KagomJack 2007-06-27 05:17 PM

Undertaker needs to bury more people and Kane needs to put back on his retard mask.

Titusfied 2007-06-28 05:40 AM

I think Owen Hart was the one whose stunt went terribly wrong. He jumped off the top of a stadium and was supposed to bungie or parachute or SOMETHING to the tarp in the ring, but instead just fell to his death....

It was Brett Hart, Owen's brother. Wrerstling was decent when Stone Cold, The Rock, Mankind, Undertaker, Goldust, Shammrock, etc were around. I think most of them are back, but they are alot older. Oh and Sable, etc made it that mucj better.

!King_Amazon! 2007-06-28 07:38 AM

Actually, it was OWEN Hart.

And he wasn't jumping off of anything, he was being lowered into the ring similar to how Sting is. He's hooked to a cable, and he's lowered down slowly. No jumping, no flying, no parachutes.

The cord broke and he fell onto one of the corner posts of the ring.

Thanatos 2007-06-28 07:39 AM

No. It was Owen Hart that fell to his death.

Goldust? LOL that dude was a fuckin weirdo. Right up Kagom's alley.

Titusfied 2007-06-28 08:16 AM

Dudes, back with Rick Flare, Legion of Doom, Rawdy Rawdy Piper, Hogan, Lex Lugar, Jake the Snake, etc. was the BEST fucking Wrestling EVER! When it was just WWF, and not all this ECE, WWE, etc. BULLSHIT. It sucks now.

Thanatos 2007-06-28 09:05 AM

Legion of Doom.. was that the tagteam that had all the spikes? Those guys rocked my socks. WCW and WWF back in the day = pure ownage.

Titusfied 2007-06-28 10:12 AM

Yep, those spikes were awesome. I actually dressed up as them with my buddy one Halloween. It was pure genius.

I heard about this on the radio on my way to work this morning, and the son that was killed also had a rare kind of mental retardation, don't remember what it was called exactly....

Lenny 2007-06-28 11:20 AM

Fragile X Syndrome.

It's in the report that Kagom posted a link to.

klo 2007-06-28 11:29 AM

Oh lol, i didn't go to the link :)

HandOfHeaven 2007-06-28 11:38 AM

I actually invented the Stone Cold Stunner...

Vault Dweller 2007-06-28 12:20 PM

Anyone else remember the cartoon from the mid '80s? It was awesomely bad. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hulk_Ho...%27n_Wrestling

KagomJack 2007-06-28 12:29 PM

Basically if it's before '96, it kicks ass.

By the way: I'm watching Wrestlemania 9!

D3V 2007-06-28 12:37 PM

Damn I'm suprised how many wrestling fans there are on here, and to think, I was the only redneck, ahahaha.

MightyJoe 2007-06-28 03:02 PM

My 2 cents on this topic=don't use steroids, that is all.
