You have knowledge of these things: Is it possible to Gravitise Grav?

Ahh. The ultimate question of the universe seems to give rise to a paradox. At first glance, it would seem that it is possible to gravitize Grav, however, the sum of all the mass in the universe - grav < grav. This is knowledge that until now was only granted to the Black Jesus, however I have decided to pass on this gift. Knowing this fact, it would appear that it is absolutely impossible to gravitize grav.

<bump>

I'm just gonna spin around in an Eastwardly direction, reverse time, and go on weight watchers with Jess.

Angular momentum is conserved unless acted on by an external torque. Torque can be represented by the equation τ=RFsin(Θ). The sin(Θ) means that the torque is dependent on angle, with 90° having the maximum effect (sin(90)=1) and 0° having none. The effectiveness of the force you apply is also determined by how far from the axis of rotation you are pushing, which involves the moment arm. Think of it like opening a door. In order to cause rotation, you push along the doorknob. If you pushed the doorknob horizontally, nothing would happen because the angle of the torque would be 0° with the axis of rotation. Similarly, it is harder to open a door by pushing near the hinges than the doorknob because you are not utilizing the entire moment arm (which would be the radius of the Earth in this case). Not coincidentally, that is how levers work.

Anyway, nevermind.

Nice, thanatos... 6000 posts zomg.

I miss you guys :( honestly.....

Thanatos 2006-12-08 10:43 AM

Meh, I realized I'm never going to post another thread like this because... honestly... who cares?

Well if you miss us, then stick around you fucktard. It's not that hard to dedicate 5 minutes of your life a day to Zelaron. Come on, Penny, do it for the children.

I've decided that posts every 1000 posts about your post count are pointless, even though I did them.(example, 3000 posts, 7000 posts.)

It should be every 5000 posts or nothing.

Demosthenes 2006-12-08 07:09 PM

I can't wait till I hit 7500 to post about that one!

Sovereign 2006-12-08 10:12 PM

Yay, I'm about to hit that mark (again)

The 5 thousands should be celebrated, then past that every 5.

Demosthenes 2006-12-09 12:58 AM

I think we should celebrate every 100.

Lenny 2006-12-09 07:17 AM

Oooh! Oooh! Me next then! :D

I think I've only ever made one thread, and that was either 1000 or 5000.

Sovereign 2006-12-09 07:18 AM

Every post is a celebration.

Lenny 2006-12-09 07:22 AM

Hallelujah, praise the patron saint of Internet Forum Posters!

WetWired 2006-12-09 11:27 AM

I think people shouldn't have postcounts.

Lenny 2006-12-09 12:23 PM

Yay! Post number 6800! Free glod for all!
