Fine, bad example.
But surely you know what I mean when I say about them bieng Americanised, right?? |
Well I sure hope so if I was able to give ample reason why LotR isn't.. It is still a good movie.

Sorry. Elves with heavy british accents just would be too fucking funny.
(i havn't see any of the movies for a long while now, can't remember if any had one.) |
Don't believe they had...if you think about it, it's rare to hear a prominent accent in any film unless it's scripted in some way...
Though Gandalf did sound slightly local to me...but it may just be because he's from around where I am - he grew up a few miles away from me. |
It's funny, because that actor is gay.
|
Indeed he is gay...and he's now in Coronation Street. It's a little soap set on an imaginary street in Manchester.
The funny thing is, everyone down South watches Coronation Street (a program from up North), whilst everyone up North watches Eastenders (a soap about an imaginary square in London - a program from "dan Sath"). Hmmm... Which films are people looking forward to seeing this year?? I'm looking forward to seeing the new Batman, Fantastic 4, Willy Wonka, and the new Harry Potter (this time round it is directed by an english director), which should be quite fun. Saying that the characters are all a year younger than me in the film, they sure are older...:p...I think only Hermione is close enough to the right age... |
