Its all in good fun ma lad. Join the bandwagon.

Sovereignty.

oh yea, btw it depends...actually.

in Nova Scotia, tax is 15%: 7% GST, 8% PST, the 15% is the provinces Harmonized sales tax, they added the to taxes together to create more governmenatl income.

In Ontario, when they run taxes, they do the 7%GST first and than the 8%PST, doing them sepeartely is less that the whole 15% at once(obviously) and in other provinces, they ahve less thanh 7 or 8% for each type of tax.

*GST Government Sales Tax
**PST Provincial Sales Tax.

Oh well it's just a gaming forum, I dun think me being a bit radical is going to make that much difference in the election, actually, as Sov said prolly only a select few can actually vote on this forum lmao.

kockblocker1 2004-09-09 06:50 PM

Bah.. Even though I would vote Bush and not Kerry I don't think it will change anything. Politicians are politicians and they are all corrupt in their own ways. It's really just a lesser of two evils thing. If he is going Kerry because he thinks he is honestly going to be some kind of American Savior or something he should really wake the fuck up.

Fignuts

Vollstrecker 2004-09-09 07:04 PM

The politicians that usually give a rats ass about things that happen are all in 3rd Parties.

precisely

vote bush

My reasons for supporting Kerry are not because I think he's the prime candidate for the job. I support Kerry simply because HE'S NOT GEORGE BUSH. One is a flip-flopping but relatively harmless democrat and the other is a gun-waving bigot determined to run this country into the ground. The math is pretty fucking simple.

sheerx 2004-09-10 07:13 PM

That is the most common reason for supporting Kerry but if you consider everything, I truely believe that Kerry's leadership will cause more damage to America than Bush's. There a several important items which caused me to dislike Kerry but quite a few zelaron members are bothered by this presidential campaign stuff so I will restrain myself.
By the way thanks for clearly stating a nice and common reason. no sarcasm
vote bush

Vollstrecker 2004-09-11 12:01 PM

All I see is Bush supporters supporting him over Kerry, and never giving a reason, so your post is unsurprising.

So, in essence:

Abort, Retry, Fail?

D3V 2004-09-11 12:58 PM

Exactly.

No it's more like "BUSH PWNZ THAT FLIP FLOP, HE KEEPS CHANING HIS MIND ON ONE THING SO THAT MAKEZ HIMS A FLIP FLOP!!!" BUSH OWNZ KERRY AND J00!!!!##!$

kockblocker1 2004-09-11 08:59 PM

What do you know about Kerry (other than he is not Bush of course)? You apparently want him to be the next leader of the United States of America; do you really know who you are voting for?

What do you suppose Kerry will do to combat terrorism that President Bush will/would not?

What's the most important piece of legislation regarding intelligence
he has authored?

What's the most important piece of antiterrorism legislation he has
authored?

What's the most important piece of health-care legislation he has
authored?

What's the most important piece of education legislation he has
authored?

Fuck if I know, go google it. Too lazy to look up this shit that you wouldn't fucking know yourself.

All That I know, is KERRY is the lesser of two evils. Bush has ruined our 'states'. We have TWO choices. Pick Bush and lose for 4 more years. Or pick Kerry and hope he can pull out of this rut.

All I need to know is that he's not Bush. Bush has done enough already. We've seen what he can do. We've seen he's a moron. Statistically, our previous 42 presidents weren't nearly as moronic as the current leader of our country, so there's no reason to believe that our next president will be. I'm willing to take a bet on that statistic.

He's fighting an idea with bullets. Soldiers can't kill ideas. Hopefully, Kerry will be bright enough to see that.

We'll see when/if he becomes president what he can or can't do. Like I said before, I'm willing to take a shot on a statistic before I take another chance with Dubya.

kockblocker1 2004-09-12 02:18 AM

I think Bush has done a decent job with the cards he was dealt. I just don't see any reason why Kerry deserves the job and Bush does not. Truth is I don't really know much about him. There in lies the problem. I don't think the run of the mill Kerry supporters know much about him either. How can you pick someone to run the country that you don't even know? How do you know he is smart enough not to kill the terrorists before they kill us (which is insane in itself but it is what you are proposing with your "idea" thing)?

As long as he isn't Bush.

If you think Bush is that bad than by all means don't vote for him come Election Day. Why not just vote for D3V on Election Day? Or write your name in there and vote for yourself. Who knows, you got a pretty good chance wining in Florida.

‡AC‡ 2004-09-12 02:34 AM

Why vote when both choices are bad?

NonGayMan 2004-09-12 07:17 AM

If I were old enough to vote, I would vote for Bush because he continues to lead the world in fighting corruption through the G-8 Transparency Initiative and other measures. George is really a nice, happy guy in reality. I don't know why everyone thinks he is so mean and corrupt. Kerry seems like a nice guy as well, but obviously he sees things differently than Bush. Everyone interprets things differently. Only the eye of the beholder knows what he or she sees or thinks.

Grav 2004-09-12 08:34 AM

Why the fuck are there no Nader supporters.. assholes..

Sovereign 2004-09-12 08:43 AM

Heh.. Actually, I am.

Sorry :p
