`Insolence` your still missing the whole point of hydra. They arnt doing the actual killing it's the fireball that does.

What blckshdwdragon ment with the hydra is they can help controling the area and if the zon decide to get hit well it's gonna be lot of recovery while fireball easily finish the job.

NECROS > PALADINS > DRUID > SORC > ASN > BARB > ZON

Necro - lots of block, dr, obsorb, dmg, speed, possible teleport (if you want to be gay and use 'charges' which is NOT allowed on GIMMEITAM if I remember right, never dueled there, but I did on pvpeast)

NEW GI rules will evetually come out, dueling in a private league for a long time does wonders for skill, like improving it, especially when those rules were designed for 1.09, 2nd of all gi DOESNT RECRUIT ONLY IF YOU ARE RECOMMENDED, like i was to duel in such prestigious league, do you duel in gosupvp? i dunt kno but ppl often associated with such leagues are known for their exceptional dueling skills and knowledge of pvp, are you full yet? or must i say more?

I dueled in eastpvp, if i remember right, might have been gosupvp... that was over 6 months ago, and I only dueled there for about 2 weeks.

BTW, almost all the people I dueled with, were/are friends with a major duper, and just horded items off of diabloii.net marketplace, and that was the only reason they were any good.

same to you buddy i dont need to list anything to show my skill skill comes from gained responces to reaction to an oppenent dueling come to west and ill show you exactly how 3 years of dueling experience has, getting uber items isnt all of it not at all they give a slight advantage but none the less a skilled dueler can do wonders, and you know how i can tell you aint hot shit is cuz of what you say in reaction to an action thus i conclude my opinion

Critieria(sp) of a good dueler:
Be friends with an uber duper
Get low low pings (~40)
Have 50 dollars to buy a high level char on ebay

FB sorcs, are overpowered, but, even then, are still pretty easy to dodge.. low ping + teleport (if you want to be a fag) make it pretty easy.

As a pvp character I agree and think hydra sorces would be difficult to win with.. orb was/is generally better

Yeah, thats what i thought too, but I've been dueling recently and fire sorcs are insanely over powered in pvp.. 1 hit = death from fb... but it is still fairly easy to dodge, max orb still owns it.

It would be stupid to use hydra to kill. It's only good to control the battle ground. Fireball is the killer. With Fireball damage + Fire Facet it's quite killer. :)

Orb range is much smaller then Fireball. With hydra restricting the battle ground and fireball having very long range it kinda make orb much less useful.

I am not a very good dueler but most good dueling people I knew did have a good knowledge of d2 and A LOT of expiriance.. therefore dueling skills .. (sorry for posting twice)

I could never be as good as them, becuase, my ping is in the 200's, making me, quite the uneffective dueler.

Orb - Covers a WIDE rang, and stays on the screen, trapping someone is quite easy, there is NO other option for SvS duels.

All FB is, is an insanely overpowered ball of damage, which will HOPEFULLY get nerfed... with 75% res, and 3k life, my barb falls in a few short hits...

West is NOT > east... on SC, yes, this is true, but on d2, NO it is not. D2 is not as serious a game as SC, why?, because it takes little to NO skill to be good, all you need to be good at is Math.

Determine(sp) the best possible way to outfit your char, the optimal level, stats.. than get a low ping, and your set.

I've dueled with the best necros on east (d2_rhino) I've seen the best sorcs on east duel, THEY USED ORB. (09, though)

Because FB is harder to aim, doesn't mean its the better skill to use, what horrible gook logik.

FACT, Fireball is MUCH faster then Frozen Orb.

FACT, Fireball can be casted none stop covering a good radius. Granted not as good as Frozen Orb but read next.

FACT, Noob cannot kill with fireball cause it require AIM.

FACT, Fireball doesnt need to be a direct hit to deal damage.

FACT, Fireball as a Bigger Range the Frozen Orb.

FACT, Frozen Orb Cover a BIG RADIUS NOT RANGE.

FACT, Hydra can be annoying in dueling giving better control of the battle field.

Orb, Larger RADIUS, not RANGE, range doesnt matter, its impossible to hit someone offscreen if they are moving, with fireball

Orb, Deals cold damage

Orb, Has a FAR greater chance to actually hit the other player

Orb, Uses less mana

Orb, Has been the skill of choice FOREVER, WHY would it change to a newb 1 hit killer?
