If you go to drop something, and you run into 10 stacked cannons, well, some of your drop is gone, but there are always ranged units that would own it, including the splash.

Yeah Splash own all and if you waste lot in a cannon defence enought to be worth lot of resource ppl could always ignore it recall/drop then you would be owned cause you would of spent all on cannon.
