dude kaxza sucks now, i dont even use that junk anymore

Mr.Lee 2003-07-03 07:45 AM

And Why does it sucks?

J_iceman 2003-07-10 02:37 PM

because when you even try to close kazaa, there is still something in your system saying it is still open, thay just want to be in your system without you knowing that is why when you open an aplication it will say you did something illigal, meaning there are several software you can't use untill it is off. and to turn it off you must uninstall, my brother found out looking at the registery, the only one that is STILL good is probably kazaa lite, and some other one that i cannot say i read an article saying if you have too much stuff in your hard drive (about 20 gigs or so) you casn go to jail, either for copy right rules or something else, my buddy had only 4 gigs and got a warning by aol !!! so watch it foo dam:confused:

Not saying you're wrong or anything, but the chances of that happening are slim to none and slim just left town. My brother has a 120 gig HD filled with music, and more on cd (in mp3 format I might add). He has all the main new hits, X2, Matrix Reloaded, Hulk, etc. He's got over a terabyte of anime, although it is Japanese so it's not violating any copyright laws in the U.S.

I dunno, but who uses Kazaa? K-lite is better by far, no pop-ups and you can have it search for more results and hosts of files automatically, much more efficient than regular Kazaa.

The RIAA is going to start suing people that share music on pvp programs, effective august 1.

InvaderJon 2003-07-10 09:49 PM

I used to have Kazaa lite, I switched to normal kazaa so I could use this hack that gave me first priority on all downloads. But the pop-ups are damn annnoying.

It matters not whether you win or lose; what matters is whether I win or lose.

Wow, dumb. There is this hack for KaZaA Lite that makes you supreme being (1000). Want link? PM me.

kevinlekiller 2003-07-11 10:32 PM

i use k-lite and overnet/edonkey (both are the same but made by different companys------[overnet-edonkey]) overnet/edonkey has every file kaaza as and more but download speeds are a little slower than kazaa... the great thing about it is that it downloads from poeple that are downloading the file(kazaa downloads only completed files) and it is manditori to share (no option to take off sharing) so it means that you have lots more chances to get the file and it uses file hashes (a code for every file) tahts means if someone changed the name of the file it will still know that its the same as the old name it had

Just to let you know I actually got more than you do!! And I suggest you take my advice also, don't let it stay in your hard drive, put ALL in cds and empty it out of your hard drive, if you leave it there, YOU WILL GET CAUGHT. That buddy of mine just went to jail already with 125,000 dollar fine, he has to stay there for the next 6 months (I got this info from his girlfriend) he actually had 3 120 gig hard drives but only had one connected to his computer...so even if you have over a terabyte, or just 80 gigs, they will take it away and prosecute you to the fullest so that others will stop pirating as well.

I also read in the magazine that the people who work in the movie theaters are using night-vision goggles to find the people who “pirate”; or video tape, movies (i.e. the matrix reloaded, by the way did you know matrix evolution is in kazaa already??!?!) and one of them was caught and convicted with copy right laws.... I’m telling, before you know it there will be NO kazaa again. I asked my brother and he said it was possible because of that i.p. address thing that differentiate all computer network/internet.
