My mom doesn't care bout mothers' day.

The way I see it...so people have a reason to give a gift, or do something in order to show appreciations to their mothers.

I don't know if I'm a horrible kid, but I don't really need a special day to thank my mom. I sometimes give her gifts, and it doesn't matter the date.

Well since Mothers (and fathers for that matter) are generally under appreciated 364 days a year. I think its nice to "force" appreciation on them at least one day. I however try to show the proper appreciation 365 days a year. You silly teens will have a whole new respect for your rents one day :) Its inevitable.
