Hit 112.9p per litre recently, which is $8.48 per gallon.

The News said that prices had hit 114.9p on average ($8.60 per gallon), and in the next six weeks are expected to rocket as the price of a barrel of crude oil has gone up to $135 - a year ago it was $65, and in November it was $100.
