[13:58] Wallow: WW, check your PM's now
[13:59] System: Lenny has joined the chat
[13:59] Lenny: It amuses me when people send a message to someone, and then inform them that they've done so.
[13:59] WetWired: Already have. The catbox has an automatic PM notification
[13:59] Lenny: It's like when someone e-mails you, then texts or calls you to tell you they've e-mailed you.
[14:00] Lenny: If you're going to text me, or call me, why not just not e-mail me and tell me what you were going to say.
[14:02] WetWired: I don't know, wallow. I don't see anything about a max size for admin provided avatars in this version of vB (3.8.2)
[14:02] System: Lenny has left the chat
[14:02] Wallow: hmm
[14:03] Wallow: well I have VBulletin 4.0.2
[14:03] Wallow: Maybe that explains it
[14:03] WetWired: Perhaps try adding them after they're already on the system
[14:03] Wallow: When you started the site, did you have constraints to the avatar size?
[14:03] WetWired: In this version, I can upload avatars, or point to a path on the system
[14:04] System: Lenny has joined the chat
[14:04] WetWired: There are always constraints on user uploaded avatars. Zelaron has never had admin supplied avatars for the general public, though at one point admins were using them to bypass the rules

[14:08] Wallow: yes
[14:08] System: Lenny has left the chat
[14:08] Wallow: But what I'm trying to get at is the site has a constant for the size of all avatars
[14:08] Wallow: I want to try and change this constant to a larger number so that avatars can be displayed as larger
[14:09] WetWired: At least in vB3.8.2, there is no one place controlling the size of avatars
[14:10] Wallow: So how do you change the preset?
[14:10] WetWired: AFAIK, there is no limit on the avatars uploaded in the admincp.
[14:11] WetWired: As I said, even if there is a limit, if you use FTP to put them on the server, then tell vB they are there, they should get left alone
[14:11] Wallow: yes
[14:11] Wallow: Can you possibly help me with that XD
[14:11] Wallow: I'm still more or less a noob at this
[14:12] WetWired: Help you with what?
[14:13] Wallow: use FTP to upload one to the server
[14:13] Wallow: I have no idea how to do that
[14:13] WetWired: You used FTP to upload vB, right?
[14:14] Wallow: I wasn't the one to upload Vbulletin
[14:15] Wallow: It was this other kid I know
[14:15] Wallow: I'm just messing around with the site he started
[14:16] WetWired: To start, you need an FTP client. (I use FileZilla). You also need a username and password
[14:16] WetWired: For the server, not the site
[14:16] Wallow: Then what
[14:17] Wallow: But I need access to the server to do this right?
[14:17] WetWired: Yes
[14:18] Wallow: Alright, I'll have to get that
[14:18] Wallow: I'll get back to you when I do
