I started with a HTC Hero on 1.5 last year, and loved it. |

The jump from 1.5 to 2.1 was incredible! Faster, smoother, more feature-rich. |

2.1 to 2.2 was simply amazing - what I thought was an optimised system in 2.1 was optimised further. Memory management was completely changed, the JVM was updated, Flash was added and, well, the phone felt brand new after the update. |

Well, I'm off to bed now, but I was leading to this: running 2.2, my phone has an uptime (how long it's been on) of over 800 hours, I uninstalled my task killer app, and it runs as smoothly now as it did 30-odd days ago. Simply amazing. |
