ITT: we talk about times a video game actually did something you didn't expect.

White Knight Chronicles did this for me. Playing it, it was "generic western story, with Japanese flavor added". 90% of the game was "your princess is in another castle". Then you reach the end of the game.
Literally all the rules you THOUGHT existed are broken in a matter of a single event scene, while remaining completely logical. [SPOILERS]The princess gets shanked, your ally gets killed, and fused with one of the major villains, turning into[/SPOILERS] the final boss, who, while you have the ability to transform into a giant robot, is the size of a giant robot your giant robot could have transformed into. A giantER knight. Cue epic chanting and final boss music "The Devil on a Black Horse". It was one of the only final bosses in a video game that I spent over an hour fighting, had to level up at least 5 levels for, and still lost - so it was difficult to say the least.
tl;dr
The game went from "I can literally say what's going to happen next" to "Holy shit, this is fucking crazy!".

In the interest of giving myself something to do and everyone else something to read, I'm going to use my level ~90 teleporting fishymancer to teleport through every map of every act in hell difficulty and kill every champion, unique, super unique, and boss monster (from here forward, all monsters in these categories will be referred to as "special" monsters. Minions are not included), as well as hit any super chests that I know of. To start off, I'm going to be doing this without loading up on magic find gear but if I find that I'm breezing through most of the game without magic find gear, I'll throw some on and do a comparison.

For every full clear I do, I'm going to break down the findings in the following way:

Sailor Moon Episode review

I downloaded all 200 episodes of Sailor Moon in Japanese and began watching them as soon as I could.

Episodes 1 and 2:

Usagi (Known as Serena in America) takes on quickly to the idea of being a hero of justice, saying odd things and striking poses without even knowing it. Her hobbies are yelling at people who didn't wake her up earlier and crying really loud. She likes it when you call her "dumpling head" and often has a black cat following her all over town.
Seriously, when she finds out she's a Princess, Chosen Warrior, and has to stop monsters and find the other Princesses, she pretty much says "neat". She pretty much only reacted to the talking cat.

Sound quality and animation seem low, and you can practically smell the 90s style, fashion, and personality. I'm going to see if this progresses with it, or stays the same.

An annoying ad-ware, most likely.

This never happened before... maybe about a week ago.
On Facebook, Youtube, and Google. There will be large gaps out of nowhere, and an implication that an ad is supposed to be there. Ad Block + makes these ads invisible, but no less annoying! I do not like big blank spots, especially ones that move things about like this. I have to scroll and extra inch or two just to see comments on photos, or to select a new video. The most annoying thing is when I type in even "Zelaron" it will appear as the top result, only for an Ad to appear, moving it down a level. What Adware would it be? How do I get rid of it? Lennnnnyyyyyyy~!

Dear diary,

Today my anti-semitic father and I went to the park for a stroll to get some ice cream. Along the way we saw a really slutty girl throwing frisby to her dog. Her chest was wet, so you could pretty much see her tits. Straight women have no shame. She did have an ass though. Well, while staring at her, my father slapped my back, yelling "Andy, I see you found a pretty young girl to ogle!" I jumped a bit and had to laugh it off. He'd probably die if I told him I'd only do her if she had an 8" dick.

Resuming our walk, we saw these two Arab looking dudes just chatting. Instantly I knew that my dad was going to blow a fucking gasket. I grabbed him and tried to drag him away, telling him that he could go to prison and whatnot. He wasn't going to have any of that and immediately yelled out "Hey, you stupid fucking Iranian niggerjews! What do you think you're doing?" I remember feeling terror crawling through my body, but the worst part of it was this: why was my dad using an insult that sounds like it would come off the internet?

They looked at us with a grunt and a "huh". Then dad yelled at them again "I said what the fuck do you think you're doing?" That's when one of them started to walk at us, the other one just standing there, watching. I quickly tried to encourage him to run away, mentioning possibility of arrest. The guy who came was probably my age and had some luxurious hair. It was like, super gorgeous and sooooo straight. I want to run my fingers through it and smell it. I bet it smells like hash. Well, anyway, the guy strolled up and said "Sir, I'm not Iranian. I'm not a...black person. I'm Israeli and thus, yes, a Jew. Is there a problem with me just chatting with my friend?"

Of course, that lit my dad's fuse. He started to shake with rage and shot the Israeli guy a middle finger screaming, "Yes, because you're wasting valuable space and oxygen for us normal people, ya fucking kyke!" Then faster than I could even blink, the Israeli guy knocked my dad down and then proceeded to beat the piss out of him. We ended up having to call an ambulance it was so bad. Bruised ribcage, had to get 3 stitches on his forehead, and a cut lip and several other bruises. Serves him right. Also, while waiting for the ambulance I exchanged numbers with that guy. I figured he was gay in like, a minute of meeting him. His name is Ben. Yeah, I managed to suave him over by telling him I hate my dad and have a Jewish fetish. I'm smooth like that.

Well, diary, it's time to give it a rest so I can go tend to my dad's injuries and probably play some Xbox. Deuces!

Pax Zelaronia: The Nightmare

By chance I happened upon this small chamber whilst searching about for a glorious trinket known only as the Pax Zelaronia. In the chamber sat Richard Simmons, in a very tight leotard and eating a bowl of Cheerios. His lips were curled into a very distinct grin, his aging hair waving back and forth like a pendulum. Upon entering, he raised his leg and adjusted to cross his legs as a lady would, but hesitating when giving my eyes the very tight outline of his groin. He then placed his chin upon his hand and leaned forward with a laugh.

“What brings you here my lost little man?” he screeched in his typical effeminate voice.

Paralyzed by fear, I began to think of a good reason to have ended up in the devil’s layer. I felt myself begin to panic even, as if the bastard could see into my heart and soul.

“I…come for the Pax Zelaronia, to bring it back again and establish a new golden age for Zelaron.” I screamed.

His ghastly pupils dilated as the very trinket I’ve been seeking was mentioned. The veins in his jaundiced eyes swelled to near-bursting, his bones nearly creaking as he swiftly sat himself upright.

“THAT…THAT THING…it’s…IT’S MINE!” he cried.

“Why do you even have it? What’s the fucking point?!?” I replied.

“Because…I need it.” he hissed.

“But…why?”

“Because, my tater tot…some men want to watch the world burn calories.” he smirked, standing erect with his chest boastful.

I bared my teeth upon my bottom lip, staring at him with permeating fear. My muscles clenched and tightened as I paced forward, eyes locked with his. I quickly assumed a defensive position, awaiting whatever may come. But then something strange began to happen. I heard the cry of an awful beast. This beast had the appearance of a homosexual boy, but he was really the dark, 7 headed beast from the Biblical book of “Revelations”. He rode in, foul and corrupt things coming out of his mouth. I wanted to stop him as much as I wanted to get the Pax Zelaronia from Richard Simmons and his oddly finely shaped ass. I turned my attention and then that’s when the beast spoke.

“This isn’t real.”

I awoke in a forest, the beast sitting next to me, furiously masturbating to bizarre things. He turned and smiled at me, whispering “The end.”

I was at Gamestop, looking for a certain game, listen to the trailor for this on accident. It sounded so stupid, and quirky. I figured it was just some shitty xbox360 game that a bunch of middle schools will buy. When I turned around, I saw with my own eyes something I never thought I'd see again. The art style, the style of the game itself, a mix of American culture with a hint of anime.
"It looks like No More Heroes." When I said this outloud to myself, the man acorss the counter smiled.
"You know why?"
"Same company, I assume."
"Same guy." he said.
My eyes shot open. I looked up, watched the rest of it. I actually begun to understand the uniqueness when I looked passed the "lol zombies" part of it. I mean, really. A cheerleader killing zombie rockstars with a chainsaw. That's... fucked up. No prep or cheerleader would buy it. No goth kids or nerds are gonna buy it, due tot he preppy skin this game is wearing. It's literally marketed to nobody. I looked on the dispaly case. "Order now and gets skins for your character such as Jimmy Urine". This sounded so familiar... When I got home, I looked up Jimmy Urine. It's the lead singer from MSI! All over youtube, interviews with Jimmy on subject of the game. So I figured "might as well look up the ost..."

A few of these songs make me assume this game takes place in the 70s or 80s. But those are just a few of them. It also has a song by Skrillex, MSTRKRFT, and others like Dragon Force and Arch Enemy. It happens to be my favorite Arch Enemy song.

Over all, with a wide variety of weird and badass music, zombies and cheerleaders, two things that should never mix, and the art style and most likely the gameplay of No More Heroes, I'm stoked for this game. I've preordered and fully paid for it. No I just have to wait. Once I beat it, I'll be doing a fullscale review on Zelaron.
